Technology solutions for interpreters: the VIP system

Interpreting technologies have abruptly entered the profession in recent years. However, technology still remains a relatively marginal topic of academic debate, although interest developing tailor-made solutions for interpreters has risen sharply. This paper presents VIP system, one research outputs homonymous project - Voice-text Integrated system interPreters, and its continuation (VIP II). More specifically, technology-based terminology workflow simultaneous interpretation is presented.
